I have never seen a sparrow in Hyderabad yet but yes I have seen lots of them in my home town Shillong. But, even there they are disappearing fast as the houses are made of concrete. I loved their chirpy sound and playful nature. Hopefully, with the efforts that everyone is putting we might be able to safe whatever is left out of them.

I saw few sparrows near my locality but with accessive construction around, sparrows can be seen occasionally now not that frequesntly. Trees are getting cut because of road and building construction.I am feeling bad that we humans are destroying there life for the sake of our well being. I have taken initiative by keeping water and food for sparrows at my terrace.

There was a old man who owned this bakery & i was there to have a cup of coffee, he used to keep a cup of water & spill few grains the sparows would come & enjoy the servings.It was the best time of the day for me having coffee with their chirpy sound.I miss those days....
