This visit was after lapse of about 10 yrs , Though sparrows and their roosting sites were seen but the population appeared reduced.
Still in evening hours flocks were converging from different directions to roost in garden area.

On 26 03 2009 about 150 sparrows were seen around residence, in pairs, flocks.
Mating was observed, male mounting 12 times, 2 unsuccessful.
