Sparrows are one of the beautiful birds which makes a beautiful pleasant chirping sounds. They are awesome with their color, behavior etc... They are an important part of the Ecosystem. Now they are slowly disappearing. My humble request is that please make a small Bird House at least with some wooden scraps or cardboard and hang it along the walls so that They ll live Safely and happily and multiply in numbers. Make them safe by keeping good food and water outside the house where they can reach. We definitely see an increase in their numbers. Let us all work together to Save Sparrows.

whenever i put feed for the birds there would be pigeons, mynas, seven sisters,crows and sometimes parrots along with the sparrows . the amusing part was that while all the other birds would be pecking away the sparrows would unsettle all of them by flying away in a flock suddenly.and make all the other birds fly away too.

The sparrow sitings were very common and they would make of lot of noise whole day. The morning chirpings were most noticeable. My bed used to be near a window in my house which opened to a small garden having ornamental plants. Sometimes in the morning the chirping sound were so loud to the point to being annoying. They are rarely seen in the locality these days.

I use to see a bunch of sparrows, throughout the day...especially early mornings and evening time.....
flying in groups of around 20-30...feeding on lentils and rice flours.....on the ground...but now ...not even a single sparrow.....on my vision...when i wake up those days...these sparrows gave me a feel of relief....i miss them a lot

Its my mothers home town which is a beautiful village were we get to see a large number of sparrows around.
I would specially like to bring to your notice that just a few km away from the house are fields, but the interesting thing is we us to hardly see some Peacocks in between, but from past 2 years the number has increased drastically and now they are often see loitering in the fields especially in the rainy season, but the problem is as the number has increased they are harming the crops too and i am scared if they continue villagers might start to kill them, i feel something must be done like shifting them to some good safe place.
