i am feeling very sad to know that sparrows are going to extinct.I request government to save birds from extinction and limit telecom operators and towers(as they are the main reason for extinction).

For past almost two years i haven't seen any sparrows in this locality, its sad cause i have grown up hearing sparrows n seen them for all of my childhood and youth.Hope something could be done about this.

My visit to SVS hospital as i had planned to meet my Co-brother who happens to be MBBS persuing MD from the said college i had noticed the nesting area of these tiny creatures and happen to share a story of their disappearence at the native city of chennai, and was amazed to see the pairs which had managed to occupy few metered electrical outlets and boxes as there nesting grounds

I stay in a commercial place where all sort of pollution is high. But during early morning it is very pleasant. These(Sparrow)cute little creature will wake me up. It is really pleasant to hear their sound. We used to fed them grain, wheat, etc. I really miss them a lot!!! PLZ HELP THEM.

Dewanman, is a residential area with approximately 55 buildings Vasai West Vasai Maharashtra
For a very long period (say, 7-8yrs) sparrows had literally vanished from this locality. I remember seeing a large number of them while i was a kid. There were at least 2 nests in our house, whereas, as i mentioned there was a period of lull in the last 7-8 yrs.
What was heartening is that these cute little birds started reappearing since a year. They try to build nests over our wardrobe but fail miserably. Now, attempts are being made to build nests in our flower pots. :)
