I am in an area which is not so densely populated, there are large open areas lots of trees, shrubs, grass etc. I see sparrows every day around our house and on the road side usually in pairs. I love waking up to the chirping sounds of these birds. I can hear them outside my window every morning and early evening.

They would come chirping and pick the grains. It is a good sight. Otherwise, pigeons have taken over our housing society and sparrows are dwindling.

I work in mindspace in night shift and everyday when i leave office around 5-6 am i can hear hundreds of sparrows chirping as the dawn breaks.
Its so amazing and i really feel good listening to them.
but i have hardly seen them during the day time or in the evening.
We have a lot of palms trees in the building compound and they are all over those trees.
Also, wanted to bring to your notice that the ares which i work is near to the marshy land and mangroves.

We always (my family) always put something for them like rice, roti. they always look for it sometimes they dont eat then i feel sad. we love to hear their noise(chirping), all the time "chi chi". but i cant see any nest. we have to preserve them.
