The other day me and my friends were talking about our childhood. The fun we had in school and playing sports in evening and lot more discussions. and suddenly our discussions diverted to topic on sparrows. We were amused to know that we are not able to see even a single sparrow today. We felt sorry . Not for sparrows but for our inability to do something on this. today our childrens does'nt even know what sparrow looks like. How exactly a nest looks like. The actual chidiya is missing and i am here standing helpless. I came to know about this site thru yahoo. Thanks to yahoo. I really want to give my support in whatever way i can to bring back the sparrows.

We are getting so much busy with our daily work & family issues that we really are not devoting any time towards nature. I've been discussing about sparrows with my family quite often in the past few years. Our area Vishnu garden (Khayala) once used to be a very quite residential area & we use to daily notice lot of sparrows & peacocks in our locality but locals rented their property to outsiders so that they can start their industrial units. Now a days it has become a mess, one can notice Huge trucks loading/unloading industrial junk, vibration of huge machines, kind of noise & air pollution everywhere. One can imagine how hard it can be for little sparrows to survive with their offspring in such pathetic environment. Govt. tried few times to ban such industrial units in our locality, but it was a failure. I am sure such Ban by the govt. can bring these small birds back to our locality. I am really missing those old days a lot. I want to do something to bring these small birds back.

I have seen frequently sparrow moving in the open area with greenery with some colleges and functional halls with huge greenery and also at my home malakpet beside moosi river
we have open land and more trees so this area only i can see it is completely vanished from the busy junctions and pollution area
