one hot summer evening i heard a little plop of something falling from a tree, right next to where my car was parked in the market place in sheikh sarai. upon checking, it turned out to be a sparrow - mouth open from heat, and breathing fast. i thought it would die. so i picked it up, & gave it some water from a bottle i kept in the car. after drinking the cool water, it rested on my palms for a few moments. then suddenly, it flew up & away.

This is a period i started going my native village regularly and was attracted by the House sparrows so near my place I placed a birdsbath in front of the garden area and i fixed my windows with a seethrough glass so that i can watch those cute little bundles without being disturbed initially i was disappointed but later they use to sit on the window sill and peck the glass as if another bird is sitting inside there so then on they never felt alone and started building nest in my roof top and under the steps of the well in the garden area and cattle shed. I started feeding them regularly. and since then They live happily in my premises till now. not only sparrows now a kingfisher family has also joined the sparrows and now i find eggs being layed by them in a hole in the wall

During those days, Sparrows used to build their nest in my house. They were like a part of the family. Whenever Mom Sparrow came to the nest baby sparrow used to make loud chirpy sound. They used to feed insects to their child.
My mom told us that if we touch baby sparrows then they would discard that baby. Sometimes they used to fall down or cats used to come to eat the babies. At that moment sparrows used to make loud noise.
Once they were building their nest but due to wind or sth their nest fell down so my brother formed a nest kind of thing for them but they never accepted it.
