We have a small flower bush growing in the balcony of our house. When the bush was fairly big enough, it started attracting the house sparrows to build its nest in it. Our family used to place a bowl of water along with some rice under the bush. Later, I happened to attend the train green program conducted by HSBC, during which I came to know about the decrease in the number of house sparrows. From then, we started paying more attention to these birds and I am proud to say that there are about 15-20 of them now.

am really sad about the incident happened just because of me,i love sparrows so only i used to put rice for them daily 3 times a day.On that bad day when i put rice for them in front of our house they all came down to eat it at the same time dont know from where a cat came and grabbed one of the bis sparrow till today i feel guilt about the incident that i am the reason for it
