Saurabh Anand - Residential sector near Gurudwara Sahib, Sector 30 Sector 30 Gandhinagar Gujarat

I want to share that the place where at present i am working has a population of sparrow. But i have a genuine fear that this area is not so much developed but due to the change in demographic sector definitely these beautiful creatures will become the victim of mobile towers and they will vanish. So, what are the ways in which we can save these beautiful birds. Kindly let us know.

I am 31 years now. I used to see sparrows a lot from my childhood till the year 1999. After that I didn't see any of them and thought that they were extinct. But from the year 2010, I am able to see them again. They now live on the small tree in my house. They even built a nest in the apartment(balcony shelf) opposite to my house. I feed them with rice grains.

numbers reduced dramatically in 2001-2008
now these days may be one or two in months
some gypsie people eat them and pesticides are main reason behinde these numbers
