We passed through this vill several times during visits to Kanha NP, IN LAST 5/6 yrs and every time sparrows were seen. smaller flocks of 5 to 15 were common and overall 150-200 birds recoeded , may be many more.

During our several visits to this place in last 5/6 yrs every time sparrows were seen more than 150/200, in different parts of town though scattered and in smaller flocks, we did not notice any nest,

Ajeet visits this colony frequently and has noticed 12/15 sparrows , every time. On 2 May he saw an active nest built in an under constructed house.
