I visited Mohgaon in Jan 2012 , while returning at about 5 PM saw about 70/80 birds in flight and settling on a tree.
Apart from this isolated smaller flocks of 5/10 birds recorded in every visit

During my visit in Feb 2012, sparrows were seen in fairly good numbers in the locality but in smaller flocks , which assembled in congregation of more than 120 birds in evening

During my visit to Lohara in Feb 2012, around 4.30 PM I NOTICED SPARROWS CONGREGATING ON ELECTRIC LINES AND SMALLER TREES. WITHIN HALF AN HOUR ABOUT 120-140 birds assembled , then flew to nearby Accacia arabica trees , possibly to roost.
Otherwise they were recorded in smaller flocks of 5/8 birds at several locations in and around the village
