Village:- Navli Anand Gujarat
Today we visited my father-in-law's ancestral house in this village, we spotted a female sparrow that had her nest in the cavity of a wall. I also saw an artificial nest hung at a sarpanch's place but it was never used... On asking I was told by a local that around 10-15 sparrows are regularly seen by him in the village...

My brother-in-law lives here and I visit them quite often, I have never seen sparrows in this area. Lot of other species like red vented bulbuls, spotted doves, fan tails are observed but not sparrows...

shri. suresh gadhvi is a writer and has distributed around 300 nests in this area in association with navrang nature club, around 600 sparrows are reported from this area...
