The house sparrow used to be abundant in the place before the development started as the new sly scrappers started to emerge the builders cleared the area without any concern towards nature. i miss my childhood days when i saw my grandparents feed my younger brother showing him these sparrows. We loved the chirping of the sparrows as they used to nest in the wetlands plants and would insects which thrived on the nearby estuary. but as the development began the estuary was used reclaimed land illegal encroachment began they began to destroy trees which supported nesting for sparrow for firewood.
