1.While traversing through the township, market area & others saw sparrows in good numbers.
2. Scattered flocks of varying sizes 5/6 to 40/45 , in all about 150 birds seen each day.
3. Also a nest in Hotel Natraj, where we stayed.
4. It would be interesting to know present status of species.

THEY BUILT THEIR NESTS IN THE GAP BETWEEN THE WATER PIPE AND PILLARS OF THE BUILDINGS. THEY DO VISIT BALCONY OF 10TH FLOOR WHERE I RESIDE. THEY EAT INSECTS TRAPPED IN COBWEBS WHICH I LEFT UNTOUCHED IN MY BALCONY.
