The last time I went there (in front of UP jal nigam, near Saharaganj mall), I was shocked to see a teenage boy selling caged sparrows. I was not in the position to do anything, nevertheless, I was even more outraged by the fact that this was happening right in front of police constable who wasn't a bit bothered. I tried calling People For Animals but their number is always engaged (yeah right as if they have a lot on their platter to do). If anyone reading this can help, please come forward, and you can also mail me at pragyachaube@yahoo.com.

sparrow were made their nest in my house three years before. there were so many. but now a days due to wireless comm they are in endangered species in the world. i miss their voices in my house. i want bring them back into my house.

before there were 100 of them now they have reduced significantly. such a lovely bird we put grains and water for them. please keep water in bowl on terrace so birds can drink it.

House Sparrows were used to visit all houses in search of food. Farmers were also very kind,they had habit of hanging Paddy panicles infront of their houses after the harvest.
