1. Even in past visits , never sparrows were seen in good numbers in this vill and surroundings.
2. In this visit hardly 3/4 sparrows could be seen.

1. During visit could see about 30 sparrows in bus stand area.
2. Sparrows have certainly reduced much in numbers here too as compared to past.

1. I was posted at Sidhi from 1991 to 1993.
2. During this period I found this place & surroundings , as the best one for bird watch and study.Which was done .
3. During this visit from 12 to 15, though sparrows were seen about 100 in numbers but, it is evident that their population has gone down considerably.

Beohari town in Shahdol distt Shahdol Madhya Pradesh
Beohari town in Shahdol distt.

1. Town was traversed through for a distance of more than one Km, market area, bus stans ans residential areas wer covered.
2.A Dabha , about a kms on Shahdol road was also visited.
3. In town & Dhaba area sparrows more than 70/80 were seen.
4. An old nest was located in Electricity office.
5, This place has been visited many times in past , when sparrows were in abundance, now they appear to have reduced in numbers.
