Kotmisonar vill, where cluster of 16 tanks exist, is a crocodile sanctuary.
This place was visited on 06 Jan 2007.
In residential area 30/40 sparrows recorded , also 4 nests could be seen in road side houses .
Around tanks scattered sparrows in one or two not more than 6/8 seen.

Sparrows are delightful to watch. I have mostly seen male and female sparrows hopping about together or in close proximity to each other. These friendly neighbourhood birds are attracted to marigold flowers in search of seeds. So if you scatter a few these flowers on the ground, many sparrows will congregate. If there is a pot of water nearby, nothing could be better to cheer their little hearts.
