According to Shri. Chetan. Vaidhya, about couple of years back, the number of sparrows in this area was very less, but not the case now. There are around 200 sparrows seen regularly in this village.

Chuda village Chuda Gujarat
According to Shri. Chetan.Vaidhya- an avid bird watcher from Chuda village, Near Limdi, currently there are 3 active nests of Sparrows in his ancestral home. One is at the entrance of his house, one in a well in the compound, and one more. He also mentioned that in the village around 300-400 sparrows are normally seen. Being a very old village, Chuda still has old residential colonies and houses with thatched roofs.

According to a veteran bird watcher and ornithologist, Shri. Lalsinh.M.Raol, in this area there were about 100 sparrows seen during the period of 1990-1994, they used to come for night roost on "asoplalv" trees.

Chuda dam, Near Chuda village Chuda Gujarat
An avid birder from Chuda village- Shri Chetan Vaidhya informed me that near the Chuda village, lies a water dam, he visits it frequently and every time he visits, he is able to sight House sparrows around 50 of them on both sides of the dam there.
