1. While travelling through and stay at the town saw fairly good no of sparrows, almost every where.
2, More than 200 birds , scattered and in varying sizes of flocks.

1. Sparrows seen in market , bus stand and residential area along the road.
2. About 50/60 birds in scattered flocks and numbers.
3. In visits 4/5 yrs later, much lesser nos of sparrows, rather very few sparrows seen.
4. Definite depletion in population.

This visit more than 250/300 birds recorded in flocks in different loclities, more , near ricemills, where they nest also.
