I usually see sparrows in morning.during the day they are hardly seen. As i keep a bowl of water in my kitchen window sparrows come to quench their thirst.

We used to see sparrow regulary. We have kept around 4 nests made of plaster of paris in the building and this jan, birds nested and had 3 chicks each in the nests and flew away. However, their nests are invaded by mynas and crows , many times thay take away eggs, nest material and chicks too..

Every morning we are woken up by the chirping of sparrows on our window grills. Since we have dark window panes the sparrows never realize that we can see them so they'll continue with their activities uninhibitedly. At times a curious sparrow does try to peer in but loses interest soon. They are quite sweet and I would hate to see them leave.
