It's my home in satara. We usually see number of birds there such as dayals, mynas, woodpeckers, bulbuls, crows, the tiny flower-bird, small pigeon-like birds and many more, sparrows are one of them.
They used to nest inside the house, but nowadays they dont. but can be seen around pecking on stuff in our yard and all.

Government poytechnic hostel block A Satara Maharashtra
During my diploma in Mech Engg, I stayed in Hostel block A of Govt polytechnic Karad.
There is a small tree at the end of the corridor on left if u stand facing the hostel entrance. On this tree, daily in the evening there will be a huge gathering of hundreds of sparrows. It was I guess kinda socializing event. The noise they made was heard from long distance. The tree was so dense never really could see nests or exact number of sparrows, butby the noise they amde, they must be in hundreds.

A nlarge number of sparrows visit the locality, especially the area aorund my house where they fed on the grains and rice we give them. We have also kept a bird bath for these birds too take a dip from and also drink water from, given the fact that the area is known for the soaring mercury levels in summer. We have had instances of birds falling dead from the sky due to the heat, in summer.

Infosys, ph-2, FC-2, a bunch of bamboo plantation infosys ph-2 campus, near food court-2 Hinjewadi Maharashtra
There is this cluster of bamboo plantation near Infy ph-2, FC-2 artificially created as part of the landscaping. Every evening between 6pm-7pm the sparrows gather in this bamboo cluster, I guess, in numbers of hundreds from the kind of noise they make. It can be heard from a distance. The bamboo cluster is so dense, one cannot see if tehre are any nests in there or how many sparrows exactly are there. However from the noise they make it must run in hundreds.
