They often rather daily visited my small sweet home and build nests under the cup of ceiling fans, electicity boxes/ store rooms etc.. they made cute noises and when we clean our homes, my father used to shift their nests to verandah etc... But alas they dont come anymore, probably because we extended our home to a bigger size.. also the coming up of homes in and around our locality rapidly lead to destruction of trees, open plots, converting our village into a corporation.

I CAME TO THIS PLACE IN 1980 AT THAT TIME I SEE SPARROW EVERY DAY BUT STEADILY THE SITING OF SPARROW CAME DOWN AND NOW IT IS NIL ONE MORE THING I WANT TO ADD THAT IS THE COMMON (MYNA)IS ALSO FOLLOWING THE SPARROW!.

Two pairs of sparrows are coming to my house as pairs searching food for their infants. Actually, sparrows are giving spiders as food for infants. I know this facts, since sparrows were lived in my house by having their nests within my house. My father informed this fact to me. Now, I saw these sparrows are coming to my sitting in windows and searching insects like spiders in my house.

At my room at first floor I used feed boiled rice,The sparrows around 9 am to 3.30pm only they will like to take boiled rice. At a time a sparrow will take around 5 to 10 rice.
It will be interesting to observe it.
A Barber shop owner has provided a packing box nest. Sparrows deviling in it.
