I see Sparrows nearly 5-15 daily coming to my rerrace for taking things like small twigs, coconut fibres for their nesting these days and to my kitchen window for food such as rice, chapati, poha and water to drink.
I would also like to mention here that the place where i live was a farmland before several constructions attracted peoples to live here. So here i observed small patches of tress and shrubs which can be preserved as garden or conserved land.

I would only like to say that in this scorching heat the best thing which we could do is to keep a mug full of water out in the sun for birds to drink water.As seeing a little bird drinking water gives great pleasure and satisfaction from heart.

I am amazed to see these tiny creatures making nests even in concrete walls. Some nests are located in amplifiers and telephone gadgets and electricity meters as well.
