Basically iam intersted in sparrow by their chirpin and their activeness. also their flap sound. I want to hear this daily
so I put a small paper box along the terrace sunshade. To the surprise the same day two sparrows started building the nest.
For food and water I have kept some grains and water in the nearer place.

Sparrows (as we call Chidiyas)been so obvious part of our life that their presence was never felt so sharp as their increasing absence. Yes, from the day (sparrows day) all of sudden I have realised that I have been seeing less number of sparrows these days. In our residential block where there were two nests ( and we took them as menace ) suddenly appears empty. Feeling a pain of missing these menacing Chidiyas.

They are on my window grill every morning at the time when I wake up. It's nice to wake up with their chirping.
I did place in a small feeding post for them, but they never touched anything in that!

I live in Kambar Street-Santhoshapuram in an Independant house. In the front portion of my house has got many trees,plants where birds usually flies down and seen many times. I have kept a pot of water for thursty birds in this hot summer. Sparraows of various sizes are used to fly around my house. There is a nest built by a smaller sparrow in the tree. I always have pleasure watching birds than watching TV :-)

They have quite noticeably decreased over time in this area. Even today, one can notice sparrows chirping daily, but the number has changed drastically.
