The pair of sparrows built a nest on top of the door of a shop near my house. The nest is built of using grass. There are trees closer to the nest or on the street so I felt it gave an atmosphere to these little birds. These sparrows are very cute and active and go here and there whenever I have spotted them.

after getting up from the bed daily morning... i can here sparrow chirping n ll be present in a huge amount. but now a days it is never found in any of the places of my location,. dnt knw y.........

it was very surprising to see and know that about, you will never get to see house sparrow in my locallity ,around yeshwant nagar,i don't know about other places around chennai.
my landlord told that it was a long back ago we get to see the house sparrow in here.

We used to feed food like cereals and food grains with four bucket of waters on the top of third floor building and also window silt. It attracts lot of sparrow and pigeons usually come in the morning as well as in the evening and take the food regularly. Interestingly Sparrows wake up us early in the monring 5.30 a.m. every day with its chirping. It is nice to hear the sound on our building when we wake up. We would like put some sparrow nests at our residential building. May I know details of making the sparrow nests.

Our office is located in a small village in the outskirts of Anand City. Anand Gujarat
Our office has a thatched roof make of Puwal (paddy straws) and so is home to many sparrows and munias (another similar bird but smaller that house sparrows. These sparrow live in the thatched roof and are chirping all day round. I can hear them even as i write this.
They are a pleasure to observe and make our lives a bit more relaxed and happy everyday.
