Actually, Pigeons' nests can be easily seen in Flats and Buildings. Inspite of having joggers park in front of my building, sparrows are hardly visible.
I think the possible reason behind decline in number is Excess heat during summer, Lack of Food and Water availability and Lack of awareness.

i would like to request all sparrow fans just to make small cardboard box for sparrows and to place at places where we fell it would make use of. because if we all combine and do so atleast one in a hundred boxes may help the sparrows survival...
