I'm from the Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh State. There is a well beside my home i used see so many sparrows and their nest present in tree near by the well. In many child hood days i grown by seeing these sparrow and their nest what a beautiful sight but due construction of the more houses and tree cutting their population were decreased so much. It so SAD!

they have been my favorite. and i feel a sense of comfort with them, so i just always look for them. been really missing them for quite some time now. when my son was small, and I would dry out wheat after washing outside, at times I saw them all around my son, even sitting on his head in the grain.My son would be laughing and enjoying, if anyone else approached they would all fly away. This bondage has been a cherished memory.

There was a time when there were a lot of sparrows running around the near by barren land near our campus. But, I could not spot a single sparrow now a days. That land is now under construction hence no sparrows are spotted. This change I noticed happened in a matter of 3 months only. Due to urbanisation and having more and more buildings being erected every month, the sparrow population in our locality has come down to a very small number.
There was a time when there were a lot of sparrows running around the near by barren land near our campus. But, I could not spot a single sparrow now a days. That land is now under construction hence no sparrows are spotted. This change I noticed happened in a matter of 3 months only.
