During the period 2010-11, I did not stay here. I stay here during the period 2011-12. In the cold season I observed more sparrows but in hot seasons I am observing less sparrows, still observing. In the morning I see always from 2 to 5 sparrow.

I get up early remove the corn from fridge, spread them in the balcony. I also offer bajra. The first to arrive is Sparrow. After half an hour parrot and pigieon will arrive. While parrot and sparrow remove the skin of corn, pigieon does not remove. Before we take lunch we offer cooked rice mixed with dal and ghee and keep the same in a plate. The sparrows only will eat and the plate will get emptied only in the evening. They drink water kept below the plant pots. It is nice watching them eat corn and rice. Sometimes if I wake up late and the corn is getting delayed, I can feel that the sparrows are waiting. Sometimes due to late feeding the corn would be damn cool and the sparrows may not be able to eat. Sparrows will wait for the corn to reach normal temperature. It is not sparrows and pigeons but we are getting the parrots everyday.

I am privileged to live with these lovely birds in my school campus. They live in natural habitat....

our house at village ratanpur,dist-darbhanga in bihar is about 100 years old.5 years back sparrows in large numbers use to live in the ceiling holes of my grandmother's room.we used to get up early in the morning when they started chirping.once our relatives came there from patna.my cousin sister was also there.she used to wake up late in the morning.but here she woke up early morning.her mother was in shock.she could not believe that her daughter had got up so early in the morning.when asked she told that she was unable to sleep because of the chirping of birds.all of us laughed a lot.whole day she played with them,giving them grains to eat and waterto drink.she enjoyed a lot there.
