I seen the sparrow pair since last year in my apartment. This pair continually make a nest in our apartment. But I don't know about the chicks. I heard the sound of chicks occasionally.

Its a Beach Near to Chitya bhoomi, there are a lot of number of crows but no single chirpy. Dadar West Mumbai Maharashtra
There are a multiple number of crows in this area, but no single sparrow I have seen over there. Previously I thought that in whole Mumbai there are no sparrows, but the place where I stay Vasai,Thane i.e near to Mumbai, there are some sparrows over there too, and I regularly put water and rice for them in the window... but got very disappointed when I was not able to see a single sparrow in Dadar chaityabhoomi area, I dont know the reason for this too.

I always seen sparrow and other birds in my garden,we every day put water and food(rale) for them. if I forgot to put they do lot of voice.my nebour also put water and food for sparrow.in our society we did platation of cherry tree because sparrow like it.

This area is now a residential area with several high rise buildings and five-star hotels. I am not sure if the sparrows continue to be seen here these days.
Earlier this used to be a quiet open meadow with a lot of bird life and several interesting birds were recorded here including the Desert Wheatear, a new record for Chennai.
