On 19 June 2007, Akhilesh reportwd about a sparrow nest, built on the open ventilator of his room.
It was noticed to be a bibber nests , with two enterances on either ends.
On further study it was found that two different pairs used to come here and had occupied their respective nests.
It was a twin nest.

Arvind repored about regular sighting of 50/60 sparrows in colony.
On 15 to 17 June 2007, he observed a female sparrow capturing insects attracted by the mercury vapour/ sodium lamps, till 11.30 PM in night, which is not a normal feeding time for the species, rarely such change in foraging behaviour is noticed.

During stay from 11 to 14 May 2007, at FRH and rounds in forest in quest of elusive Wildbuffaloes, very few maximun of 20 sparrows could be seen around FRH and residential area.

Koyba viill, situated on the eastern fringes of Udanti WLS, has an Eco centre. Dhamtari Chhattisgarh
oN 11 May 2007, only 5/6 sparrows seen at Eco center , but in vill residential more , 15/20 seen.
