i live at above place from past 12 years and i see sparrows everyday. Basically we feed them with rice grain i.e we have placed a tray filled with rice in our window permanently so that whenever a sparrow or pigeon com they can directly feed themselves. they usually come at 7-10 am in bunches and later 2-3.
And i appreciate your contribution towards such a great cause.

I moved in this area in early 1996.Initially i saw some sparrows but not remember having seen their nests ever.since last two years or so i suddenly realized that the sparrows are not seen any more and now despite of my best efforts i don't see them and often wonder where they all have gone. Recently it occurred to me that i should do some thing by which these birds can be rehabilitated in our area and for which i was thinking to contact some one who can advise me on this.

I usually find a pair of sparrows in my temple daily in their nest(within the temple). To my surprise I found one pair in my house day before yesterday and was very happy to see them but they flew away. No nest in my house or close visinity.
