I've lived in Karvenagar for the last 14 years,and the number of House Sparrows has been declined over the years.Nowadays,i hardly get to see any though.I feel if this is the condition now then over the period we will feel lucky to see any sparrows.

Earliar(2010) We have seen lot of sparrows and also crow,Piegeon,Mynah,Bhardwaj and bul bul regularly
But as the greenery(trees and Bushes) are cut down for Ownership flats(Ours is One of Them) These birds are probably searching for the same greenery elsewhere
Still we can see them and also able to feed water,rice
etc on our Balcony
We are searching for Bird feeder also
if we can get it (payable Bases) we will be happy

I see some of the sparrows ( usually couples) in my aprtement where we have 20 flats. Also I have come accross a group of sparrows ( 20 nos)in bush near a road in the evening.

We feed birds and keep water every day so we observe a lot of birds in our balcony. In our society - Bramha Exuberance, we have lots of sparrow nest and they safely co-exists. Since they know food and water are abundant here they visit every day.
