I Nitin Resident of Sardarpura, Jodhpur observe the movements of sparrows almost daily because i put water and rice in some pot for them in my balcony, in winters i 2-3 times rice in a day and in summers I put 2-3 times water for them. I have felt that their population is declining in my locality. I guess that giving them water and rice or something else in this heating environment helps to them.

Salasar hanuman temple is a big and well known temple in Rajasthan. There is an open space inside the temple having trees and you can see there uncountable sparrows above you chirping there freely alongwith their nests on the trees.

Not only in this time period but currenlt even today I regularly watch them and even feed them food.. I really like their chirpy sounds all through out the day

During my school days I often see this tiny little birds everwhere...and I was so happy to see them. The same place now back in 2012 we hardly find any Sparrow's. If you are luck you will find one or two here and there.
