Bernard Imhasly - Awas Sasawane Road Raigad Maharashtra

There are two or three sparrow pairs. All tried to nest under the roofer beams of the veranda. But they chose different sides across the courtyard (open to one side). They are usually busy in the mornings, when they bring twigs for the nest-building. I am not sure whether it was teh same bird which always brought the building material, but it seemed to me that only one bird carried a load in its beak, while the other seemed to give cover.

The living area as well as nest place have been vanishing making the survival of sparrow difficult .
