On 21 March , overall 300 sparrows were counted in locality.
Sparrows have built a nest in HORIZANTAL PVC PIPE 2.5 FT long in adjacent house.
Male was observed in act of display to allure the female, this it continued for about 2/3 minutes, then finally started mating , on pipe itself.
Male mountd 5 times , all successful, female emitted low mew mew voice during copulation.

On 5 March 2008, sparrows more than 30 in numbers were involved in different activities .some perched on small trees.
A shikra arrived and perched on closeby tree, causingalarm amongst the birds present.
Of all birds present , two sparrows adopted aggresive attitude and repeatedly dashed and tried to strike it,
Harrased with this act of sparrows , shikra finally left the locality, without hunt.
