We have kept bird feeders and some water for birds along the passage parapet walls. I have often observed pegions, sparrows and crows come feeding near the feeders. The Sparrows have a few nests around as well. Its fun watching them chirp around and play around :)

There is this building next to where i work i see sparrows everyday.Everyday around 1 o'clock in the afternoon to arnd 2.30p.m on the roof of the adjacent building. during this time some workers in the building throw their food on the roof everyday. so along with the sparrows, pigeons and crows too come to feed. its really heartening to see that everyday the workers give food to them..

I have quite a few potted plants in my french window and also a bird feeder hanging out against the grille facing the road. The sparrows usually come to feed regularly from the bird feed and also drink the running water from the potted plants. There are quite a few nests in our own building along the side of the french windows in the nooks between the walls and the drainage pipes

I used to live in this area and that was the time when my interest in wildlife started growing. In the early days of this time period i used to see lot of sparrows around that place and their nests also in hedges and houses. But as the time went by, their numbers started declining and during the last days of my stay there, i hardly noticed any sparrow in the area.
