I feed them bajra in 3 feeders hanged from trees in my front courtyard.2 dishes of water are also kept for their daily water needs.Around 20 birds visit my house daily and stay in the bamboo tree and in the madhu malti creeper for most of the day.

Plenty of House Sparrows observed during this period.Many nests were seen near the market and shops.Seen nests in electric lamps too.200+ house sparrows were seen picking grains near the ration shop and provision shops near the market

I am active in conserving sparrow. I have put the sparrow nest box at almost all the houses of my street. In one house opposite to me, the nesting going on through out the year. In other houses also nesting activities are going on frequently. Main problem is Indian Cuckoo and Common Myna frequently having fights with sparoow and sometimes distruct the nest and even kills the young ones but still activities of sparrows are on till date.

No nests observed during this period.A colony of bird contain 10 individuals seen near chalai-Attakulangara bye pass road.The number of this group increasing day by day.
