I have regularly seen sparrow nest in my home througout the year.They were frequent visitor to our locality, they lays there eggs and there chicks can easily be seen during this period.

I see these birds from 8 a.m onwards and see them entire day and often they land on my courtyard to eat rick or other grains picked by my mother.
apart from house sparrow, I also noticed Black drongo once, Indian chat, Kite, good number of house crows and sometimes see vultures as well.

I walk my dog daily over a 2 sq. km area. I have seen sparrows in a MCD park in A-2 Paschim Vihar, a bunch of them. There are several large bougunvillea bushes there and probably the sparrows nest there. Otherwise sparrow sightings are very occasional, especially in A-2 B, Paschim Vihar. There is a large district park adjoining this residential block where there are lots of rare bird visits like green pigeon, grey hornbill etc. but sparrow sightings are very very rare.

the sparrows used to live in our house. after we changed our home's ceiling they started living on our garden and roof shed. the place is ideal for them as there are trees and plants, they get food, water for bath and drinking from our water tank. the sparrows in the market place has reduced over the years.

We have long Chameli plant and flower plants at our main gate where these sparrow use to live and make their nests my wife always feed them with bread and other eatable. We need not fix alarm on clock Every morning at 5 or 5.30 their voice of creaping was morning alarm. Even in rainy season they use to cover my garage as shelter. But it very unfortunate that during last few years I have not seen a single sparrow near my house. I am really very sad. We (my wife and children) always discuss about them. If I can help to protect them I am ready.
