Hi, recently we had a interview with the Kannada channel called Samaya on the internation sparrow day, it was a great feeling to share the presence of sparrows in our premises in such large numbers, when all over they are diminishing in numbers. The growth of the sparrow during the last 2 yrs in our campus is mainly due to my husband , Mr S Sethuraman, who initiated the idea of feeding them daily, and Mr Neelmagam our security incharge who did needful everyday.At present the are 3 nest and we are hoping that they will still grow to larger numbers.

From Couple of Months The pairs of sparrow Coming to near my House Neem Tree at morning. I have already put up water holes and made some nest in Tree. so This pair regular comes to observed the nest. and eat Grains and goes a ways.

in summers i put water for birds their is one sparrow who always come and wait for me and after drinking water just come close to me sites on my body for a second and fly away it is like saying thanks just to feel that moment i keep water for the birds but from pat few months i am missing my little friend

As I am also one of the nature lovers, I have kept food and water for birds in my garden. I do see almost everyday sparrows eat food from the food feeder (readymade food feeder, made up of plastic bottle and a plate, available in the market).
I have also kept nestboxes, but not being used sofar by birds.
