I often visit the easwaran koil at villivakkam and happened to notice that the area surrounding the tank(Koil kolam) has not changed much in several years and still has an agraharam feel to it:-) and this could be one of the reasons why the sparrows are still around.

from the period there were very few spotted!!! i've been to sydney tbhere i used to many in there then i realised that the sparrows were missing from my area some say they are eaten and some due to lack of trees and and vegetation,

mt native place was the area i selected. During my childhood there were hundreds of sparrows all aroung my house and in the general area.They generally used to eat the paddy seeds which villagers used to spread in the sun. But recently the No. has has gone down alarmingly. Sparrows used to be my favourite bird and they were really cute. Please continue in your endeavor to save them. I don't want to loose the sweet nostalgias associated with the sparrows .

in my chaild hood days, sparrows used to put nets in my home
i used to take to hands sparrow chickes at night time for 5 to 10 minits, then again i used to keep in nest, if any other big bird came they used to to use by making different sounds. but now i am obesrving sparows only in some ares along
with my home.
