Save Sparrows!!!
I am basically from Tamilnadu,a small town called udumalpet,i like to share some thing with you,in summar season birds dont get food and water,because of this they die,so i kept a small bowl in front of my house in my town for food and water,daily my mom will change the water and keep some food for the birds,but i saw some sparrows daily come to my house for small grain and water,this is how i help to save the sparrows.Thanks

I was able to see the sparrows in the mornings between 6 to 8 a.m. The count is coming down and we need to take measures in order to protect them.

This is the story of my home town (personal house). I am living here since 2004, and have seen a slight rising population.
I have provided 5-6 nest box/earthen pod for nesting activity of sparrow, water for drinking and grains for feeding. This helps me to keep a good chirpy colony of around 15-20 birds. Good to see that they are breeding round the year (except cold winter months).
The local population of saprrow in the surrounding of my home (2 km periphery) is more then 400-500.
