I had not seen any Sparrows in this area. But I had seen parrots which also crossing during Mango seasons...
Because of insufficient trees in this area, sparrows are not coming as their food is unavailable(Completely Urban)as they eat worms & insects...
Thanks for taking this survey to take care of Living Being's generations..

first of all thanks a lot to initiate this project. I am also always crazy to save the animals, birds and i made effort a lot of time to save the birds. being a farmers son, my family always respect the house sparrow, my grandma share the chapati to house sparrow during lunch. during summer we (hindi - neem ke ped par paani ke liye matki ko aadha foldar latka dete h taki chidiya paani pi sake) help the house sparrow by getting them water. at the time of evening, house sparrow play game within the population in sandy soil, water and it is so awesome. i can also send the photographs of house sparrow if u provide your e-mail ID.
thanks again to save House Sparrow!

I never saw a single sparrow in my neighborhood. In Bangalore I saw sparrows only at Bangalore International Airport campus. May be because it is in outskirts of Bangalore. But within city i missed it completely.

In the said locality I had lived about 15 years. I've had been observing that the presense of the sparrows are gradually decreasing. If I had to recollect as when was the last time I had seen them, then I'll really struggle to recollet. It would be neary around 2 years back. Very very occassionally I would see sparrows visiting my home there (Now I live in different place Hafizpet, though). During the time when I use to see the Sparrows, there weren't too many houses constructed at that time. But by now the construction of builds have gone beyond my speed of imagination. And now even if I see any sudden appearence, I would feel that I've encountered an alien! How crazy isn't it!? Now all I see in the street is stry dogs. Dozens and dozens of them. I'm too troubled by dogs and it's rapid growth that I can just ger rid of it :).
However regarding sparrows, I feel they are close to exinct.
If we've to keep this species alive, I've an idea. Raise funds and get a sparrow nest that can be hanged at every house. Again which should be safe enough from cats and other preys. This way at least we can support their race going on.
Finally I really appreaciate this site creators as taking an "Ideal" step for saving sparrows. Wish you all the best and let us save Sparrows.
Thanks,
Swaroop.

I just want to say, we all know there is a bird which is continously getting missed from the surroundings.
I really do remember those days when i come back from school and me & my siblings go to the back side of our house to play some outdoor games and those chirpping sounds of sparrow refreshes us.
I don't know whether my next generation would even know about the sparrows or not. we are actually continously loosing them.
