I love sparrows, they are amazingly intelligent birds. I have frequently seen the bold ones come and drink water from my plant pots.
I then decided to keep water in small vessel for them and plat coriander plant as food for them. I have seen they like it very much. I am doing as best possible to keep them coming to my house everyday.

During my school days I used to study in my veranda & there is a tree infont of my house. During those days generally in the evening I used to hear the chirps of sparrow every day. But now I have passed my college and hardly I hear the chipring sparrows. Thats the sad part..........

we have sparrows nesting in the A/c duct in my house,and have been there since the last 5 years since we built the house... what is distresing to note is a pair of brahminy starlings is for ever fighting with them, but thankfully they have held their own and i can hear the chirpiing of baby sparrows!!It is the same story year after year!
