I saw about 15-20 sparrows near a religious place(i.e. Mandir) of Sai Baba...!!!
At a place like grasslands and they were just knocking their beaks in the ground...!!!
I didn't observed it too much as i was on vehicle...!!
But i was surprised to see sparrows after a long time...!!!
Now also a few time when I go through that road I often see Sparrows there...!!!
I saw them in the morning time like between 8:00 am to somewhat 10:30 or less...!!!

Before 2004 there were many sparrows ;including a nest too.
But during the 2006-09 period the sightings went down rather sharply......may be because people were blocking the nest of sparrows because of dirt these birds create....

10 to 15 years ago, I usually see many sparrows.They used to build their nest in my home also.I was very much delighted.But later on,I don't know what is reason,sparrows started disappearing. I am very much worried about it.We must do something to save the sparrows.I would definitely like to share my contribution for this work.

Firstly I feel with pigeons coming into this area as many feed them and that should not be allowed, the sparrows have reduced a lot.I feel we need to make people aware of the importance of this beautiful bird to nature.
