As i have Dog pets at my home,we keep food for our Dogs ie Roti?chappati mixed with milk.Around 12-15 sparrows at one time comes to eat from it.

Sparrows are among the other 15 species that I get to see every morning from my Balcony.My society is one of the oldest in the area with the most space and trees like coconut,mangoes, gulmohar.bottle-brush,eucalyptis and many others whose name I may not know.The common visiters along with sparrows are the parrot, parakeet, bulbul, maina, koyal,crow, pigeons and many others whose species I am yet to find out.Just love my house.It is heaven because of this unique feature which is rare to find in a city ilke Pune.I am blessed to stay there.

Growing up mom referred me as ‘Gubbi’ vernacular translation of sparrow. That’s how I started noticing these tiny adorable birds on our porch, backyard and everywhere I travelled. Beautiful birds which are gonna be extent if we don’t preserve them now. Spread the message and lets contribute to the survey to preserve these birds
