i really am afraid that after few years sparrows will just be in stories if proper actions are not taken, Maybe even the wireless communication (Cellphones) is one of the major reasons for that

Since 2008 i am residing in this locality i havent seen a single sparrow till date even crows but few days ago i observed some crows (4-8)here.

Panchamantra road kuvempunagar , which is heart of mysore city now , we moved into this road in 1986 inot our newly built house,there were still agricultural lands in the near by vicinity and sparrows were a common everyday sight then as i remember sprinkling rice grains in the front and back yard of our house for them to come and happily feed on them.After 1994 have not seen them at all here .
