We had many sparrows coming inside the house, chirping all the time, they were all around us inside and outside. There was a permanent nest inside our living room behind a photo frame that was kept slanting on a pelmet.we could see many nests from outside of other stone houses and below the roofs.There used to be small parties of sparrows feeding in the backyard/ frontyard.

I have been seeing sparrows since child hood but since couple of years i haven't until recently since couple of months surprised to see them coming in the balcony to drink water or eat something.

It used to be a spectacular thing to watch sparrows come and sit on the verandas of our old house with their small built and round bellys!
It seems to have been a lifetime since i enjoyed such a scene!

ABOUT 20 YEARS BACK SPARROWS FREQUENTLY VISIT OUR HOUSE-IN BED ROOMS, HALLS WHERE THEY COULD FIND SUITABLE PLACE TO NEST AND LAY EGGS. TO AVOID HITTING THE FANS I OFTEN SWITCH OFF THE FANS EVEN. AFTER SOME YEARS BIRDS COUNT STARTS REDUCING AND I COULD SEE ONLY OUTSIDE MY HOUSE NESTING IN THE HOLES WHICH I PROVIDED FOR LIGHTINGS. NOW I VERY RARELY SEE THESE BIRDS IN AND AROUND MY HOUSE. THE MAIN REASON IS MAN'S INTERVENTION IN DEVELOPING MULTI STOREY BUILDINGS ETC.
AM VERY MUCH INTERESTED IN SEEING THE FLOCK OF SPARROWS AGAIN WITH THE HELP OF THESE ORGANISATION.
