Yes, I like to watch birds. I often wander along protected mangroves near palm Beach area in Nerul West and happen to watch hundreds of birds living in vegetation. Ours is a green area with lot of water bodies, vegetation and relatively free of pollution. I have grown 7 - 8 trees in front of our house and generally wake up in morning by chirps of sparrows. Life would be miserable without their chirpy music. We would love to share experience with as many people as are willing.

This pertains to the period 1990-1998. This place is where we grew up. There were quite a number of house-sparrows then and I can clearly recollect house-sparrows chirping from the grill of our windows in the mornings and there were nests in the gap between the grill and the glass in the ventilators. Sparrows were there in the January 14 Pongal pooja when we kept small round balls of rice for the birds.

she was thin then became very huge.
I named her nimmy.
Nimmy is a good sparrow but very adamant.
She is a control freak.
Keeps giving instructions.
She shift-deleted all the other sparrows.
The only person kind enough not to want to kill nimmy is sankar the gr8.
And they lived happily ever after.
