I live in a duplex house in the area specified in the form above. I have been in Bangalore for the past 6 years, but have never seen sparrows except when I moved to this apartment in 2011. I was really surprised and ecstatic to see these little chirpy birds who had made their home within the tile roofs of our apartment complex! I keep bird food and water in my balcony and the birds come during the day and gorge on it. It's indeed satisfying to see these little angels chirping about! :)

I have seen sparrows in 1990sto 2005 after this period these are disappearing rapidly. usually I use to feed this birds on the roof of my house and in the backyard of my house but not these rare to seen. I think there living atmoshpere is unavailable in the society. because these use to make there nests in homes built with wood and Chappars which are now becoming obslete. these birds do not lays their eggs on any tree or plants and many use to create nests in homes roofs or roshandaans these are visible in villages only.

There used to be a Government ration dept on my next door. And everyday when I was going to School the ration shop used to open and the shopkeeper was very kind to put some rice grains and sugar for sparrows. And house sparrows along with crows were very regular in my street. And House Sparrows used to nest in the ventilator of my house and couple of other places in my street.
