we lived and still live at the address mentioned above.theres a window ledge at the side of our house and since the last few years sparrows have been building nests and hatching their young at least twice a year.we dont disturb them use no insecticides outside and I always put cooked rice outside on the boundary wall for the squirrels and the birds.If i am late they make such a din!we have a huge gulmohur tree which we avoid cutting because of the flowers the shade and the birds but the sparrows love the window ledge.we dont close the window during the rains because of them

The area I am living in, find the people locally indifferent to ecological conditions. Chirping of the little birds are really heart warming and they are quite good also to be seen around. But quite unfortunate we do not have them these days around. Reason is the high rise towers, atmosphere warming, loss of trees and very high humid weather condition, compounded with high level of noise and air/sound polution. These little birds need very cool places with peaceful living areas and expect the residents to tend them carefully. What more to add. It is SAD.
